The Marco Island Foundation for the Arts (MIFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the visual, literary and performing arts in public places on Marco Island. Incorporated in 2003, MIFA is a growing organization with over 100 members, a volunteer board of directors and an honorary committee of advisors.

Our Mission is to support the arts in public places. We believe that the arts can be catalytic in bringing people together, and can complement the spirit of the people who live in a particular location. Through public arts events we hope to engage people, to stir their imaginations and inspire dialog. The arts can help us to shape our community, create rituals, celebrate history, and encourage pride of place.
